To put this into some kind of perspective, the order flow in the currency market would fill three telephone directories in any given 24 hour period.

And at low volume times, prices are moved/manipulated ever so slightly to suck unwary traders into entering or exiting trades just before a complete reversal of price occurs.

So if you can’t/don’t follow the BIG money, or at least know how they work, then you have absolutely no chance of making any kind of living via Forex. For some people finding the answer takes years and years of experimentation, plus a vast amount of money. The only way to trade Forex is to use the *similar methods that the banks, institutions and professionals use. There is absolutely no other way. In other words YOU have to learn the same methods as those big money traders. Do you know what they are? If you don't, then you'd better find out, because any other method/system will result in a continues stream of dwindling accounts and financial losses.

* Don't be fooled by someone who tells you that they're an ex bank trader, and therefore are qualified to show you how to trade. I've met/known some useless bank traders who I wouldn't trust with a one dollar trade. Remember it's not their money they're trading with.

The main reason that 95% of retail/individual Forex traders lose money is because they purchase courses, systems or whatever from people who've never seen how currency trading is actually carried out inside the banks. And yes I've seen the process first hand.
 

The currency market is an unregulated 24 hour market, which means that the different time zones require different methods/rules in order to trade them.

Institutional and professional currency traders use Technical Analyses and Fundamentals. However, their main money trades come from fundamental triggers. Technical Analysis plays a ‘minor’ roll albeit an important one. In other words they can’t just sit around all day doing nothing while they're waiting for their fundamental triggers to kick in, so they use TA to make ‘small’ trades during the day. These 'small' moves are the ones which can kill off the individual/retail trader.

YOU must trade in harmony with your chosen market! But how do you know when you're in harmony? Do you know what the actual 'Holy Grail' is of trading? If you don't this (and most traders, including most bank traders, don't know it).

You need to trade with the 'Weight Of Money' behind you, because that’s when/where the money is made. But there's no need for you to sit around all day looking for TA trade setups, you’re not employed by the banks therefore you can just select only the high probability trades.

Is It Really Possible To Make Money
Trading The Forex Market?

Yes it's possible to make money trading the Forex, however, you need to see the market from the Investment Banks and the Professionals eyes because unless you know how they view the market, you can’t make money. It’s that simple! No matter how much money you throw at the market, you simply can’t win. The odds are stacked well and truly against you.

If you don’t know what, when, how and why a currency moves, then how can YOU possibly make any money from currency movements?
 

So if you agree that you can’t use indicators or predictive software programs (because the BIG money doesn’t use them and BIG money moves markets) then what’s left?

The way to trade currencies ‘properly’ is not generally advertised. The few traders who do trade Forex successfully either can’t write a course on the techniques used, or they’re simply not motivated enough to share the knowledge on how Forex trading is really done.
